Home again....Home again....

Well, Adam returned home from Camp. Sounds like he had a great time. He learned a few important things, like how to have towel fights, duck away from a flying paint ball & a few other important things....but so much that it's hard to put down on paper....or I mean on a computer! Anyway...sounds like it was a success & even though our adam is shy, cautious & quiet...he made friends, had time with Jesus & enjoyed a break (but not too long) from the normal family life. He did say he missed us something crazy....so that is always good to hear. So, we made it, and until next year....I think we will go camping as a family from this time out! Adam did say one of his favorite thing was called the "PLUNGE"...which they experienced a few times, due to not having the tidiest cabin, I guess! It consisted of some sort of large bucket, filled with water on some sort of stand....and then the person(s) who were to get "plunged" stood underneath to experience a very refreshing & cold shower, or down pour. Yes, I can see how that could be fun! Seeing his pictures & listening to his stories....reminded me of HOW OLD I AM GETTING! Gotta love the youth!

JIMMY JIMMY JIMMY

Well, Jimmy just wanted to pose for a picture. It seems that
his best friend (madison) plays alot with the little girl
next door...so he gets more time with MOM! He is smiling big because
we decided to walk to DQ (5 blocks away), which is his new
favorite place, along with the park that is right by DQ.
SEE...hanging out with MOM isn't so bad!

Go 2 Camp!

Well...Adam will be heading off to CHURCH SUMMER CAMP for the first time. Hard to believe he is "13". I have the best memories of camp growing up...I am so excited for him. Here he is holding the NEW addition to our home. My sister KIM and her family had gotten this puppy, but he was TOO MUCH for her little boys... so we gave him a home. They called him MCQUEEN...I think he might be more of a CHEWY!! He is a cutie & doing very well.

Worth the WORK!

Well, we purchased a home in Great Falls the end of February & have been working on it since then. We have been painting, carpeting, fixing-up this and that & remodeling the kitchen/dining area. I know my family is so ready to be settled...and we are almost there. We only need to buy a microwave/fan for over the stove, some sort of light for over the table, finish the tile right by the steps (6 inches worth) & to put crown moulding on the cabinets. It has been a LOT of work...but it's so worth it...I love to be in the kitchen & know it will be used GREATLY! So...I have been working like crazy to get the rest of the house un-packed & should be done slowly. It's hard when you don't have the money to get all you need to finish your DECORATING...but we had to put all our money into the kitchen....so I will be content & the rest will come...and if not, I am so, so, so thankful for what God has blessed me (us) with. Well, don't hesitate to stop by & check out the Huston Home. We love to BBQ---and we love to have company.

A New Generation

Well...I am trying to Catch up to the times. I have found that everyone...has a blog. I still have NO CLUE as to what a BLOG is...but I am trying. If I figure it out, I will let you know, too. I was just talking with my sister Jill, and we decided we seem to get stupider (see, I don't even know if that is a word, anymore) with each passing year as being a mother. I am concerned, because my 4 year old(soon to be 5) seems to know more then me at times.(lots of times) Anyway, I figure I better try to figure out more ways to keep me brain savvy, besides just playing WHEEL OF FORTUNE! LORD HELP ME!!! Well, for those of you who agree, lets stick together, for those of you who know exactly what all the NEW rages are and what they mean---COME VISIT!! Well, I have more things to say & I want to see what all this TYPING looks like....so I will sign off. BYE BYE
